Job Mission
Translate the product requirements for the YieldStar system and its applications into software specific requirements and update the software architecture.
Job Description
You will build a thorough knowledge of the YieldStar products developed in the Applications Business Line; and participate in the definition of these products. You will translate the product requirements into software requirements and lead the definition of optimal software architecture. Together with system engineers, domain experts, the YieldStar product architect team, the software platform architect and Function Cluster architects you will be working on our Yieldstar system.
Context of the position
Within ASML, the Business Line “Applications” creates a new type of products that help our customers to improve the quality of their IC designs and their semiconductor manufacturing process. The products measure deficiencies in the customer’s process and use ASML’s high precision wafer scanners to correct them. The products are created by a team of several hundred developers. The Applications business line is very successful, is growing fast and is generating a significant part of ASML’s revenue. The YieldStar software development team consists of 160+ software engineers.
You report to the manager of the Applications Product And Platform Architecture group.
Education
MSc in Computer Science, Software Development or Software Engineering, or extensive experience with software architecting in complex systems.
