This is the role
The Inspection team Lead will be coaching and leading the site inspectors (own and contractors) to ensure a consistent maintenance and inspection program of the plant’s stationary equipment. All this with considering current and future development of Operational Excellence (OE) and Engineering Standards & Guidelines, legislation and regulations. The aim is to protect the long-term integrity, availability, safety and reliability of the stationary equipment (vessels, columns, piping, etc.). Besides, you’re responsible for the personnel development of the Inspection team, goals and objectives setting, coaching and annual evaluation. Another challenge is to develop preventive and predictive inspection and maintenance programs, stationary equipment performance and failure evaluations, quality procedures and evaluation of technical specifications of existing (repairs) and new equipment (projects). You will be one of the main stakeholders of the site long term Integrity plan (Including CUI and painting). As a focal point for all other departments on inspection related subjects you will work closely with (maintenance) engineering on reliability related issues. Together with your team of 14 inspectors, you will ensure compliance to NL-CBI/IVG requirements as described in the Dutch legislation (Warenwet Besluit Drukapparatuur (WBDA) and the Praktijkregels voor Drukapparatuur (PRDA)) and internal procedures. You will have frequent team meetings to monitor projects, to capture collective knowledge and measure team’s performance. You will be reporting to the Manager HSEQI.
