Our main headquarters are located in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we also have 18 office locations around the United States- including main offices in Wilton, CT, Chandler, AZ, San Jose, CA and San Diego, CA. Job MissionThe Customer Support Organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customers’ site and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local sited Customer Support branches perform these tasks for the customers within the specific region.
This position will report directly to the Department manager for CS.ASML is a world leader in the manufacture of advanced technology systems for the semiconductor industry.  ASML’s corporate headquarters is in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. Manufacturing sites and research and development facilities are located in Connecticut, California and the Netherlands. Founded in the Netherlands in 1984, the company is publicly traded on Euronext Amsterdam and NASDAQ under the symbol ASML. Job DescriptionThis is a summer intern position.  In this position the candidate will work directly with the CS Competence engineer to identify training for the 5000 EUV system that can be covered using Virtual Reality.
The task will be to identify the tasks to be covered with VR and work with the VR software team to outline the key training aspects and also the planning to have the VR software written. EducationCurrently enrolled in a college degree seeking program3 years of engineering coursework completed Computer Science major with a focus on VR preferredGPA 3.5 or higher preferred Experience3 years of college in Computer Science, focusing on VR.  Maintain a 3.5 or higher and ambitions to work in a high tech environment. Personal skills-Pro-active attitude and taking initiative.
