The successful candidate will be responsible for technical, engineering and design work scopes, carrying out design reviews and performing design verification. The work is interesting and varied and offers the opportunity to work within a small engineering and projects team engaged in the upgrade, design and redesign of drilling structures. This role will be of interest to those looking for a long term staff or contract position.
The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree and at least 5 years experience in structural analysis and engineering within the Oil and Gas industry. Previous experience of drilling structures and offshore structures would be advantageous, but as minimum, candidates should be experienced in structure modelling and analysis for offshore structures, lift analysis, load out, transport analysis etc. Experience of either Strucad, STAAD and/or FS200 would be advantageous.
