Job DescriptionThe main focus of this position will be to support:
-Develop clear understanding of optical tests needed for qualifying optical sub-modules.
-Design test stand set-ups that have the resolution and accuracy for qualifying optical sub-modules and systems.
-Lead the build and qualification test set-ups.
-Transfer test process to manufacturing EducationCurrently enrolled in a BS/MS/PHD program majoring in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering (emphasis on Optical metrology) Personal SkillsCandidate must:
-Experience with diverse optical metrology setups: Interferometers, SHS, polarimetry/ellipsometry, Optical alignment.
-In depth experience with at least 1 of the 3 items list: CodeV and/or Zemax; FRED; MATLAB.
-Have strong written and oral communicative skills and a commitment to achieving results on time.
-Demonstrated “team player” with a quality orientation and interpersonal skills.
-Be able to interface with multidisciplinary groups and work effectively in a team and be willing to take on responsibility, follow through and keep multiple simultaneous assignments on schedule.
