Our software departments are expanding and we are looking for several Senior Design Engineers to join our teams!
Within ASML, we have several software departments and each is specialized in creating, maintaining and configuring various complex software products.
Depending on the department, you could be working on high tech Java products, or C# applications or on C/C++ applications on embedded Linux or algorithm programming.
You will provide the software solutions that make our machines complete and unique.

Job Description
At ASML, we use various programming languages, as per each department's needs. The specificity of all of our teams is that they work in a highly complex, multidisciplinary environment which leaves no room for error in the live environment and for which quality is essential. You will design, analyze, document and test the required software specifications.
You will use C/C++, Python, object oriented design programming and Linux within a highly complex embedded environment.
You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, involving physics, mechatronics, customer support and factory departments.
You will work on embedded or application level programming, on computer systems or software platforms, depending on your
ambitions we will find you the best match as software designer at ASML.
You will work with C# or Java on application level programming.
Education
You have a BSc., MSc., PhD or PdEng in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics or similar technical domain.
Experience
Software engineer with minimum 5-10 years of experience in large-scale software applications involving: embedded programming or algorithm development or application level programming on various types on layers and technologies.
Key competencies for this role are Unix/Linux, C, C#, Java, C++, UML, Python,
VxWorks, Matlab.
