Airbus is seeking a talented structural analysis engineer with proven problem solving skills to join the Airbus Nonlinear Technical Centre. Based on the Filton site in the UK, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Methods and Research team within the Technical Centre.
The role will involve developing and disseminating methods, tools and processes to support the prediction of actual structural strength by means of static non-linear finite element analysis at all structural scales. The role will involve close collaboration with team members, other Airbus domains and external suppliers.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with leading edge commercial software mounted on the extensive Airbus High Performance Computing facility and will contribute directly to the success of Airbus aircraft programmes.
