HMI-Algorithm Support Engineer Job Description

Introduction

Hermes Microvision (HMI), an ASML company,  has been committed to the research and development of the most advanced E-beam Inspection (EBI) tools and solutions for the leading semiconductor manufacturing fabs.

Job Mission
Algorithm Support Engineer solves worldwide field issues in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.  You will be responsible for algorithm development and improvement based on filed requests including: image quality enhancement, CD metrology and inspection algorithms.

Job Description

• Field issue analysis and root cause finding.
• Field request handling and solution providing.
• H2H and JEP supporting.
• Metrology algorithm requests supporting.
• Testing and improving algorithm performance on field site.  
• Troubleshooting for field issues also belongs to your task.

HMI-Algorithm Support Engineer Job Requirements

Education

• Master Degree or above, Ph.D is an advantage
• Major in Computer Science and Information Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Information Management

• 0-3 years professional
• Proficient in C/C++ programming
• Knowledge in Image processing, Pattern recognition and Machine learning
• GDS/OASIS layout format processing.

• Good communication skills ( verbal and written); able to work collaboratively with different departments 
• Good level of English (verbal and written)
• Team player who is able to influence and convince others with cultures and backgrounds. 
• Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude
• Flexibility, self-driven, pro-active, and get-it-done mentality. Other information
• Business trip is needed, around 10% per year
