In this role you will be part of the team that integrates a wide variety of Hardware, Software and other deliveries into one large system that performs at a specified level.
Job Mission
The System Productivity Architect is responsible for the quality during the integration of one complete system. Integration is done on both functional level and on performance level on one of the key performance indicators in ASML’s systems: Productivity. He or she lead the definition of the optimal test/qualification strategy to achieve good function and performance and takes part in execution of this strategy on one or more platforms. During integration, the productivity architect will supervise the analysis of complex system issues and will lead a team responsible for the definition and testing of the solution for such issues.
Job Description
Overview of main activities & Responsibilities
-Drive & maintain productivity roadmap with System Engineering
-Drive and contribute to feasibility studies definition
-Owns Tooling, Troubleshooting, Regression and Progression test validation
-Identify technical solutions using productivity budget across whole machine using complete per customer use case models
-Execute budget verification and defines means and methods to verify the budget
-Lead technical discussions across Functional Clusters
-Lead system performance verification & validation (contribute to TPS and TAR analysis)
-Assesses system performance interdependencies
-Drive and contribute to issue resolution; Approve solution and validate test and customer impact
-Is the escalation channel for Functional Cluster Architects and productivity engineers
-Predict, assess and drive productivity performance including test methodology
-Develop and maintain productivity models and customer use-cases
-Turn result of feasibility studies into design decision; Manage SY log
-Assess system performance interdependencies
Education
Technical Msc or PhD
Experience
- Hands-on work experience in ASML machines or integration experience on other complex systems;
- Experience in integration activities, e.g. as integrator in multidisciplinary project.
- Knowledge and passion for fields such as software, electronics and mechanics is needed: we look for a generalist
- Previous experience as architect preferred
Personal skills
- Analytically strong, enthusiastic, flexible, assertive, proactive, structured;
- Ability to interface/cooperate with different people on different organizational levels;
- Technical Msc or PhD
- Hands-on work experience in ASML machines or integration experience on other complex systems;
- Experience in integration activities, e.g. as integrator in multidisciplinary project.
