Software Engineer (Intern) Job Description

We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Wilton, CT, Chandler, AZ, San Jose, CA and San Diego, CA.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and responsible  intern candidate to join a team of engineers developing new leading-edge products. Pattern Fidelity  Metrology, or PFM, provides maps of pattern defects and out-of-spec patterns for every wafer processed in the Fab. PFM uses state-of-the-art electron-beam inspection systems to verify locations where patterns are predicted to be out-of-spec. For prediction, PFM relies on a combination of full-chip computational lithography to identify patterns most sensitive to process variability, as well as wafer metrology data to map out process variations on every wafer.

The successful candidate will report to HMI's PFM product engineering manager and work with the team in  software development of PFM prediction.

Bachelors or Masters
