Introduction
Key elements of the job include:
• Deep understanding of customer supply chain requirements and drive towards customer intimacy as part of global customer account teams.
• Implement supply chain strategy in alignment with stakeholders and based on business opportunities, customer needs and ASML SCM strategy.
• Drive supply chain operation to secure plan feasibility and realization, as well continuous improvements on efficiency.
• Responsible for performance management of supply chain services.
• Financial management, realizing required performance within agreed budgets, and optimize inventory including excess and obsolesce in high tech environment with high pace of engineering changes.
• Manage performance and development of team and individuals.
Candidate’s profile:
• Proven track record in areas of service and operations management, in a high-tech or otherwise highly complex and cross-sectorial business environment.
• Can manage high dynamics, whilst having the drive to structure.
• Advanced analytical and complex problem solving skills, to identify relevant supply chain drivers, as well as perseverance and project management skills to actually generate impact.
• An engaging leader with strong management experience and desire to make his or her mark on the company.
Education
Relevant Bachelor degree (e.g (Technical) Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering)
Experience
• 10 years relevant experience in a large international company, ideally Supply Chain Management, Operations or Procurement background
• Knowledge of business complexity, supply chain and relevant markets
• A strategic thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills, decision making skills, people management skills, project management skills
• Trade and Customs knowledge within China
• Highly analytical and able to organize and prioritize workload.
• Experience with change management and Continuous Improvement Programs
• Familiar with ERP; SAP experience is preferred
Personal skills
- Customer dedicated and service minded, especially understanding semiconductor industry is preferred
- Leadership skills, drive for results, act under high pressure
- Result oriented, convincing
- Pro-active and “can do” mentality
- Capable to make deep-dive analyses whilst maintaining top-level overview regarding problem & solutions
- Excellent professional communication in English.
- Experience with working in a multi-cultural environment
- Traveling 20-25%
