Introduction
Pre-install is a critical step in the delivery of our machine. For this the customer needs an accurate set of pre-install documentation. You need to work cross-sector, align with projects and coordinate the delivery of this package to our customer (internal & external).
Do you have quick understanding of customer impact, when it comes to factory preparation? You like close cooperation with both D&E, factory and field? You see a challenge in getting the projects to deliver the high quality standards that our customers need?

(*) Pre-install documentation is an extensive set of documents used by our customers (and our own factory) to do all factory preparations, to enable quick install of our machines.

Job Mission
Take lead on timely delivery of all D&E pre-install documentation for highly complex machines. Act as second line support for our own factory & customers. Drive continuous improvement.

Job Description
-Make the pre-install master plan and align with all stakeholders
-Agree with projects (PL’s & architects) on their scope and deliverables
-Monitor quality and do quick checks on project deliverables
-Set the baseline for a release of the pre-install documentation (together with pre-install architect)
-Agree and freeze the defined baseline with the project team (Mkt, SE, FPE  and PL’s)
-Discuss impact design changes with the pre-install architect 
-Integrate package, maintain data files
-Give support on questions from customer and own factory (“2nd line support”)
-Train and support projects on way of working
-Drive continuous improvement:
-Help with improvements on training material, templates and processes
-Analyze lessons learned, create improvement proposals
-Build (and share) fab & facility knowledge

Education
Bachelor (preferably mechanics, electronics or thermal & flow)

Experience
-At least 2 years ASML working experience, preferably in the area of factory preparation (or machine install)
-At least 1 years working experience as junior project lead

Personal skills
-Clear communicator able to separate main from side issues.
-Assertive & Critical: ‘seeing is believing mentality’. Not afraid to push or escalate
-Works structured with high quality drive
-Helicopter view. Can assess overall project risk based on lot of uncertainties

Context of the position
The D&E pre-install is operational within multidisciplinary, cross-sectorial projects. He/she will report to the group leader Mechanical System Layout and to the pre-install project lead.
Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and engineering of the ASML products.
In this sector, departments such as Mechatronics, Mechanics and Electronics specify, design, and qualify the various modules of the ASML products. Each department consists of discipline and function oriented groups where emphasis lies on particular competence or functions in ASML equipment.
