Introduction

Our San Diego-based light source division, Cymer, is renowned for developing both deep ultraviolet (DUV) lithography light sources and next generation extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light sources. We are looking for a talented technical writer to join our Technical Writing team. We need someone experienced in developing procedures and technical documentation for highly skilled field service and manufacturing engineers. The mission of this position is to provide our global workforce with clear, accurate and highly usable service procedures, and to continuously improve product documentation to reduce service time and maintain customer satisfaction by keeping our products’ performance optimized.
Job Description
Tasks include developing procedures and technical documentation courses for external and internal customers on highly technical laser systems.
Writing tasks include:
Strong technical background with Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Technical Field; or equivalent experience and education.
Highly adaptable to new processes and tools; quick learner
