External: Suppliers World Wide, with focus on North America. Support the Supply Chain organization in:
- selecting and (re)qualifying of suppliers to reduce risk and to drive improvement of supplier processes to secure Value Sourcing (Quality, Logistics, Technology and Costs) and Sustainability.
- driving fast resolution of key quality issues in the supply chain by the use of theme audits.
The Lead Auditor performs the supplier audits with a cross-sector audit team, identifies supplier risks and drives required supplier improvements to secure timely implementation of solutions by the supplier. Job DescriptionThis is an outstanding opportunity in our Wilton, Connecticut facility to join our Quality Team. In this position you will manage assigned suppliers and an overall supply base audit process to ensure ASML is supported by world-class suppliers. You will be expected to actively pursue continuous improvement with current suppliers and potential new suppliers.
The key duties involved in this position:
- Identify Supply Chain Risks by collecting all relevant information.
- Maintain audit planning to mitigate identified Risks.
- Execute audits according to the agreed plan by leading an audit team to assure a structured execution of the audit and improvement approach with adequate reporting.
- Monitor and control effective follow- up of agreed improvement activities.
- Support monthly ‘Key Performance Indicator’ reporting about status of executed audits, running improvement activities by suppliers and process improvement activities within ASML.
- Contribute to optimize Audit way of working, procedures worldwide.
- Report regularly to the Veldhoven office to coordinate audit planning, status of running improvements at suppliers and way of working. EducationBachelor degree in Business Administration or Engineering required, MBA preferred, or equivalent experience. Experience- Minimum 7-10 years of External auditing experience. High-tech manufacturing environment preferred.
- Broad experience in different business processes: manufacturing, logistics, engineering.
- Broad experience with different technologies (e.g. mechanical, optical, electrical) to be
able to identify bottlenecks in processes.
- Experience with new product introductions in close cooperation with suppliers
(Built to Print / White Box / Black Box).
- Good knowledge of International Quality Management Standards
(e.g. ISO-9001, QS 9000 etc, Sustainability, Environmental Health and Safety).
- Broad knowledge of Quality tools (SPC, TQM, FMEA, 8-D, Gauge R&R etc.).
• Broad manufacturing knowledge
(World-class operations, Flow-production, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Cleanroom standards and procedures, etc.). Personal skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
