Business Analyst Job Description

IntroductionASML brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our main headquarters are located in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we also have 18 office locations around the United States- including main offices in Wilton, CT, Chandler, AZ, San Jose, CA and San Diego, CA. Job MissionThis position will work together with the management team to realize the 3 year strategic plan, driving the operations teams towards cost targets and operation excellence. Job DescriptionThe business process analyst (BPA) maintains the operational policies and procedures of the DUV department. The BPA also creates and updates presentations, and process flowcharts for reference purposes.  The BPA is a process-improvement champion in the department. He/she suggests projects that can be completed and has expert knowledge on process tracking methodologies.  The BPA reports and highlight performance measures that must be translated into everyday language. He/she must be able to explain what happened and provide recommendations for achieving the DUV goals.  This is a "hands-on" position that completes projects that track operational efficiencies in performance. The BPA works with the subject matter experts (SMEs), including information technology (IT), finance and other departments within the company. The BPA  does not have supervisory or direct report responsibilities.   EducationMinimum Bachelor in a technical field, statistics, information technology, economics, business, or equivalent experience.  Experience5 years’ experience, ideally with a proven track record in a similar position. Knowledge of the semiconductor industry helpful.

- Understands relational databases and interface tools.
- Ability to comprehend large amounts of data and simplify into clear crisp visualized conclusions.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/OneNote).
- Expert level Excel skillset with proven experience in complex array formulas, pivots, data visualization, macros.
- Ability to work in multiple cultures and time zones.
- Project Management.
- Proficient in publishing reports that are used at all company levels.
- Business diagrams, process flowcharting.
- Change management in high pace/scale environment.
- Proven experience in leading projects from concept to implementation.
- Experience in large-scale ERP implementations such as SAP or Oracle a plus.
- Semiconductor experience a plus.
- Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
