For this reason, the WW Applications Knowledge manager position has been created to establish the applications knowledge management framework, drive the best known method sharing, drive a consistent way of capturing and maintaining knowledge globally and own the Applications strategic capability roadmap.
Job Description-
rive long term strategic capability (knowledge and skills) roadmap for applications
Define future Apps holistic lithography skillset profile in collaboration with WW Apps Core team
Define long term (1-3 year) roadmap and requirements in anticipation of knowledge and skills required to support the ASML roadmap within the applications community
Define transition action plans requires for holistic lithography KM adoption x-levels: WW Applications Managers, GLs, TLs and Engineers- Manage the competency knowledge for the WW field applications team
Standardize skill level definitions
Manage and track field skill targets and performance for the WW applications team
Work with the WW Applications managers, VHV GLs and competency leads to define cross cut of skills needed (holistic)
Work closely with the competency leads to ensure that the SMT skill list is up to date
Jointly define SMT targets for the field sites based on the install base and forecast
Integrate knowledge management into functional ‘skill up’ initiatives and HR processes (DAP, Engineers rotation, onboarding/ off-boarding etc)- Drive knowledge sharing across field sites (change management)
Organize knowledge sharing sessions across field sites
Drive the integrated knowledge platform that supports learning
Change management required to embed knowledge capture, sharing, maintenance and continuous learning as part of the mind-set of all applications engineers
Create the knowledge and skills management reference board from VHV and field teams to further develop knowledge and skills management activities across the applications community
Education
-Master’s degree (or Bachelor + relevant experience) in physics, electronics or mechanical engineering, optics, micro-electronics, chemical engineering or IC manufacturing or equivalent experience.
-A minimum of 5 years semiconductor industry experience with degree or 10+ years of related industry experience.
-Over 3 years’ experience with culture change and the soft aspects/people aspects of organizational development
Personal skills
-Strong technical background with drive towards collaboration and solutions
-Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction
-Effective interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
