Can you independently function as the IT Hadoop lead developer and coach teammembers in the Hadoop platform? If “yes” then we want to talk to you!

Job Description
ASML is looking for a senior Hadoop developer with the following skills:
 
- 10 years plus total experience of which at least three years should have working experience in the Apache Hadoop framework (MUST), HDFS, MapReduce, Spark, Python, PySpark (MUST), Flume, Sqoop and Oozie.
- Experience of working in a development teams, using agile techniques. As senior developer you will be coaching our new big data development team, discuss designs with our business information analysts and architect. Provide software coding guidance, best-practices to your fellow team-members.

Hadoop lead developer Job Requirements

Education
HBO+ level or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience
-Big Data full-stack developer with software engineering back-ground
-Full working knowledge of SQL. Ability to identify and translate use cases into Hadoop.
-Software release management (GitHub, Bamboo, Jenkins)
-Passion for technology and ability to adapt to new environment.          
-Experience with Cloudera Hadoop distribution. Preferably Cloudera Manager and - Navigator, HUE, Impala (MUST), Solr and Kudu (MUST)
-Technical Leading Skill.
-Bachelor Degree in Computer/Information Sciences
-Excellent English language skillsPersonal skills-Good customer focus and customer facing skills;
-Taking and driving ownership;
-Shows initiative and problem solving attitude;
-Work independently;
-Excellent presentation and communication skills and proficiency in the English language
