Assistant Business Controller - Hsinchu Job Description

Job Description
Be a true Business Partner to AT and SBM and drive Strategic & Performance Management:

• Support the Business Controller Taiwan in running the Taiwan business proposal/deal structuring process, Monthly performance review process, and budgeting processes and if needed run these processes independently as backup;
• Interface and align between “front- office” Sales/CS operations (i.e. Account Managers, SBM, CS Managers, Sales/CS Control, Legal, Contracts) and supporting “back-office” functions (i.e. Sales/CS Accounting, Back-office accounting, and Corp. Financial Planning).
• Responsible for the preparation of deal margin analysis information for management decision making to drive margin efficiency and effectiveness;
• Identify (business) risks and opportunities for AT, SBM and propose mitigation plans;
• Enforce compliance with Code of Conduct, Business principles and Sox compliance;
• Co-operate with Internal Auditor to performance an effective and efficient audit on all activities and drive implementation of audit findings and report outcome and progress to CS Controllers, Country Controller, Global CS controller and relevant stakeholders;
• Participate in business/process improvements projects;
• Execute ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Assistant Business Controller - Hsinchu Job Requirements

Education
Masters with a concentration in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration and Professional Finance certification encouraged. 

Experience

• Extended working experience (> 10 years) in an international environment and preferably in a similar business environment;
• Preferred sound SAP, TAX, SOX & GAAP knowledge;
• Has advanced business planning & decision support knowledge;
• Budgeting, planning and analysis experience;
• Preferred project lead experience in process improvement;
• Masters with a concentration in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration and Professional Finance certification encouraged.
