In ’s-Heer Arendskerke is the regional distribution office for Europe, Middle East, and Africa for family business Vermeer corporation that is located in the United States. The firm design produces and sells machines worldwide which are used on industrial construction site and agricultural sector. At Vermeer in ’s-Heer Arendskerke we focus on the machines in oil and gas pipeline sector as well as construction utility lines, tree care, landscape and rental, mining and environmental industry.
As Technical Support Specialist you offer professional technical support to the Vermeer dealers in Europe, Middle East and Africa. You are responsible for solving technical problems, repairing machines on site and supporting technicians. You provide technical training courses, inventory problems with machines and develop tools for solving technical problems.
You will also develop marketable service packages for our dealers in collaboration with our sales group.

You also need:
• HBO work and thinking level;
• Technical background;
• At least 5 years of experience in a comparable technical / commercial function;
• Knowledge of / experience with hydraulic and mechanical machines and electronic systems;
• Knowledge of / experience with measuring instruments;
• Knowledge of English language is required. Knowledge of French or German is a plus.
