Assistant Technical Product Manager Semi-Hard Draining and Moulding Systems
In this position we would like you to be based in Heerenveen, Netherlands
Main responsibilities:
As Assistant Technical Product Manager within the Business Stream Cheese, you are supporting the technical management of the Branded Product(s) and you ‘ll support all technical activities around the Branded Product(s) to ensure that the products(s) are the preferred product(s) for our customers during the entire Product Life Cycle. You will work with a team of specialists within Tetra Pak CPS to deliver high-end quality products to our customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and improve the product in accordance with the product activity plan.
- Ensure that feedback from all phases in the order implementation including commissioning and warranty period leads to improvements of the product.
- Participating in the definition, release and maintenance of technical Standard Product specifications of the Branded Product(s), upgrades and auxiliary equipment (Product Manual).
- Supporting tasks regarding the assigned Branded Product(s) in case of questions/problems from internal/external parties around the world.
- Participates in the R&D/Product Support activities in cooperation with the development team.
- Support in CE, Food Safety and Environmental aspects of the products.
- Participates in developing and improving the Branded Product(s) and upgrades assigned based on internal and external feedbacks.
- Customer visits for support if needed and to find opportunities for improvement.
- Support on delivering information on standard Product like cost break down, technical quotation texts and other technical information for the understanding of the standard Product
- Providing technical support with regard to the assigned Product to Sales and Technical Sales & Services
- Participates in the release of customer specific solutions (non-standard) in NS/TS&S projects, and analyses cost and time implications of non-standard solutions in the Sales phase
- Support for the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) documents for the assigned Branded Product(s) within projects.
- Support globally for internal and external parties with regard to spare parts, maintenance and upgrades.
- Support the Issue Resolution process. Keep track on incoming technical issues, working on alternative solutions and when needed take preventive actions.
- Support on maintaining and improving the engineering tools for designing the Branded Product(s) assigned to the TPM.
- Scouting for new developments on techniques regarding the assigned Branded Products(s). (Monitor exhibitions, technology institute and networking in adjacent industries)
Assistant Technical Product Manager Semi-Hard Draining Job Requirements
Critical Experience:
- To be successful in this position, you should hold at least a B.Sc. in Engineering
(Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Marine Engineer) ideally combined with experience in Cheese Technology or Production Knowledge (Processing)
- A very good command of Dutch and English, both written and oral is required.
- You have at least 3 years’ experience in the food/beverage/dairy-process industry.
- Good presentation and communication skills
- You must be structured and organized with outstanding skills in structuring complex technical solutions and problem-solving methodology.
- Experience in Project management and Product Life Cycle Management preferred
