This is an outstanding opportunity to become involved in one of our most exciting and important future missions. In this role you will manage the Verification Engineering Team, leading and co-ordinating all the verification engineering activities for our next generation of satellites.
You need to be a team player as you will work in close partnership with the Instrument Functional Chain Teams, the Operations Preparation team and the ground segment and system development teams. You will lead and co-ordinate the preparation of the system integration and verification plan, generating test specifications and ensuring that test tools and data are available and ready for use.
You will assure the test processes are in line with the specifications and review test results with the relevant experts. Key to this role is maintaining control of the verification records.
You will have substantial experience in system integration and verification of end to end Earth observation satellite systems, ideally with exposure to test preparation, execution and the use of simulators to generate test data. You need to be aware of industry standards, with the capacity to understand complex issues in a developmental environment.
You will need to be able to communicate effectively. You can manage technical concepts and need to ensure that these are presented simply in formal documents and verbal presentations.
