QUALITY ENGINEER
The Opportunity
Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental compliance through development of a world class quality culture.
Main accountabilities
• Contribute to the strategic development and application of the TFPP Global Enterprise Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure the successful application of the QMS across Neuruppin Manufacturing Operations
• Participate as a key member of the site quality team and work effectively with site management to embed the quality system
• Ensure all the requirements of ISO: 9001/2000, and the relevant approval bodies are met
• Ensure that suppliers follow requirements such as first article reports (FAIs), material traceability, etc. when submitting samples and regular production units to Tyco
• Perform on-going audits of quality processes with select critical suppliers or potential future suppliers to Tyco utilizing the Supplier Certification Program
• Manage Corrective actions to closure through implementation of 8D or equivalent process
• Support QA activities in other TFPP locations as required
• Responsibility for the welding activities
• At least a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering, Quality Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in Quality Engineering or equivalent
• Fluent German and English speaker with excellent oral and written skills
• Strong MS Office skills, including MS Excel, Word and Power Point
• Experience of managing ISO9001 systems
• Effectively communication skills
• Practical experience with the application of Lean Six Sigma and SPC tools and principles would be an advantage
• International Project Management knowledge would be an advantage
