Functional Cluster Test Architect Job Description

Introduction
ASML’s Applications products are critical elements in the semiconductor manufacturing process. These products are largely software driven. Wafer Fab Applications (WFA) is the part of the Application products responsible for developing and delivering products that improve the performance of ASML’s scanners by translating large amounts of performance data into scanner correction profiles.

Job Description

• Define the test and integration strategy for the FCDeploy and guard the test and integration strategy within the FCAlign with stakeholders (like customer support, product architects etc.) to make sure the deliverables are according to their (and our customers’) expectations
• Create integration and test plan for each deliverable to make sure each deliverable is qualified before release
• Take the lead in improving the test processes and test environment in cooperation with the team(s) and the System Test and Integration group.
• Work closely with the functional design engineers to make sure test data and reference implementations are available.
• Review the test specifications and test reports created by the developers
• Support the team(s) with test execution, preparation, design and reporting.
• Make sure all deliverables are in place (software, test specs, test reports, user manual  etc.) before release

Functional Cluster Test Architect Job Requirements

Education
BSc, MSc computer sciences.

Experience
Proven background of at least 5 year in test tools and methods.
Focus on software application

Good team player
Flexible
Result driven, “make it happen attitude
Self-starter
Accurate in his way of working
Ability to switch quickly between levels of abstractions (detailed view vs. system level view)
