Introduction
Are you an experienced engineer with training experience or a technical hardware trainer with experience in a business environment?Would you like to organize and facilitate new hire design engineers are trained with the latest design tools? Are you experienced in encouraging Development & Engineering (D&E) engineers to use latest techniques so they can do their job?
Do you have understanding of training techniques, have you got experience in designing mechanical and electrical designs preferable with Team Center and Unigraphics? Are you good in networking and do you see new opportunities for improvement when deploying? Frequently traveling (around 30%) to our HMI company in the U.S. (San Jose) is part of the job.
Job Mission
As training engineer you will be responsible to make sure D&E engineers are optimal trained to their job. By training them they make use of the workspace (tools, processes and data) available to them.
You’ll also maintain, improve and extend the training program for both experienced and novice engineers in a cost and time effective way.
You’re able to support selecting the most effective learning activities on conventional methods and developing new ways of learning (ASML’s virtual capabilities, gamification on e-learning, social learning, self-directed learning, Performance support, etc).
Job Description
-Maintain and improve training program for design engineers
- Create online and class room training sessions.
- Facilitate local class room training (involves 20-50% international travelling).
- Continuously improve training program by making use of given feedback.
- Represent training within new projects.
Education
Bachelor and/or Master degree in education with affinity to high tech or Mechanical Engineering
Experience- 5 to 10 years in an international D&E environment.
- Proven experience building up a learning curriculum
- Experience with Modern Workplace learning (informal and social learning, collaboration, use of social media)
- Design & quality experience in a technical environment.
- Learning solutions from third parties
Personal skills
- Excellent didactic skilled
- Organizer and team player
- Comfortable within an international environment
- Fluent in English
