Introduction
The new generation lithography systems EUV light source is designed in collaboration between ASML office in San Diego and headquarters in Veldhoven. The 9Hrs time difference between the US and the Netherlands requires projects to be represented on both sides of the ocean. Working in the satellite team you will be representing San Diego projects in Veldhoven.
The team consist of people from all over the world with diverse technical backgrounds. Engineers who just started with their career and engineers with several years’ experience within ASML.

Job Mission
The creation of stable and repeatable EUV plasma is a complex process. Several parameters like CO2 laser power, timing and energy control, tin droplet stability all need to be within specified limits. As plasma control engineer you will be responsible for:

- Secure proper hand over to our colleagues in San Diego
Job Description
Your main deliverables consist of:
- Provide Development equivalent (last line) level of troubleshooting support:
- Hands on in Veldhoven factory, remote support/integration of hardware located in San Diego or
customer sites.
- Escalation support internal and external customer
- Advanced data analysis. Integration preparation: - Intake new developed hardware/software from San Diego.
- Interface with integration engineers of other departments and US colleagues.
- Contribute to the documentation of requirements, designs, tests, and FMEA.
- Integrate new hardware from San Diego projects into systems located in Veldhoven.
Issue resolution:
- Intake, data collection, investigation, and solve/transfer new issues.
- Drive and align on ongoing issues.
- Ensure issues are properly followed up.
Education
Master degree in Physics, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering. Broader interest in advanced technology
Experience
- Practical experience with complex system design and integration is needed
- Familiarity with lasers, plasma control, general control systems theory and applications, programming
- Matlab
