Introduction
ASML is looking for an experienced manager (m/f) to lead the extremely demanding supply chain processes related to upgrades, installs and relocations. (UIR)
Job Mission
You will lead team(s) of 5-20 individuals responsible for ensuring material availability for machine upgrades and installs at the customer site. The role includes driving operational performance, leading continuous improvement efforts and providing day to day leadership in, personal development and specialist content topics. ASML started using the LEAN methodology in its supply chain operations, and it is expected that the new manager further embeds this in his/her teams.
On top of the operational role, the manager acts as MT member of the corresponding business line to represent the supply chain operations with regards to operational improvements, long term strategy and cost savings.
Job Description
-Take ownership for all logistic aspects related to your business line and events supported by your team
-Manage critical stakeholders of factory and field engineers
-Develop the team of highly educated coordinators both in personal development and organizational set-up
-Contribute to the wider UIR group through gaining a thorough understanding of the (product and process) content
-Building a network of key stakeholders within ASML, and use your influencing and negotiation skills to improve upstream processes to ultimately meet customer requirements better
-Evaluate performance with all stakeholders and identify, initiate & drive improvements
Profile
Given the extremely dynamic environment of ASMLs supply chain, we are looking for candidates that possess a combination of operational acumen, and effective structuring and project management skills. Managers who can quickly adopt to and have impact on complex organizations, and who can build and operate at the same time.
Relevant Master degree is a must (e.g Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering)

Context of the position
ASML’s customers are constantly looking to optimize the capability of their ASML machines in the fabs. They can do this by installing new machines, relocation existing ones or performing upgrades. These activities create extremely demanding requirements for the supply chain processes, driven by the sensitivity of the parts (cleanroom handling only), the strict needs to minimize machine downtime and the constantly changing specifications. Goal is to establish a true “field factory” set-up that allows the engineers to perform these activities with maximum efficiency and minimum downtime.
