Computational Lithography plays a critical role in driving the semiconductor industry forward. Brion Technologies, an ASML division is at the forefront in computational lithography and is looking for highly motivated, hands on tech and business savvy individuals to join our Product Engineering Group (PEG) in the Fab Products division.
Job Description
This position reports to a Brion Process Window Control (PWC) Product Engineering Manager and works with the team to develop products and customer solutions that solve highly complex process control issues due to overlay or imaging for advanced process nodes. This role requires cross-functional interactions with marketing, system engineering, software R&D, SQA engineer, and customer support. Key responsibilities for this job includes:
-Work with R&D to write product and feature specifications including implementation and user interfaces according to system performance and design requirement.
-Develop acceptance test plans and execute end-to-end integration tests to make sure the product as designed can address intended customer problems and provide right solutions.
-Support marketing and sales in new product introductions which include collecting and presenting proof data, developing technical presentations, designing and running demos, making training materials, writing application notes, and providing needed customization for customer implement.
-Work with field and customer support organizations to provide 3rd line product support. This includes answering customer inquiries, trouble shooting customer issues in the field, listening to customer feedbacks and turning them into new feature requirements or product needs.
-Work with field organizations on specific customer projects including analyzing customer data, drawing conclusions and making specific recommendations. This also includes necessary on-site work at the customers and implementation of customized solutions.
-Work with System Engineer to define study projects, executing the study, concluding on feasibilities, and developing best known methods (BKM).
Education
-Must have an engineering degree, M.S. or above or equivalent experience. Experience & Skills-A strong lithography background with a clear understanding of imaging, focus, and overlay metrology and control in the scanner, and effect of illumination and aberrations.
-Strong hands-on experience with lithography and metrology simulation and computational optimization and control for imaging and overlay performance.
-Knowledge in principles of CD, focus, and overlay metrology and control, and experience with solving complex problems involving imaging and overlay performance on photolithography.
-Strong software skills including building utility scripts, customizing software for specific use cases, analyzing large amount of data, and building automation flows.
-Working level experience with MATLAB and at least one scripting language. Ability to take over tools and scripts from others to make modifications or improvements.
-Possess the ability to work effectively with people in different organizations and different regions, with different specialty and skill levels
-Experience and strong skills in defining, executing, and concluding independent feasibility studies based on high level goals.
-Knowledge and experience with ASML TWINSCAN immersion or EUV systems strongly recommended.Other:
-2-3 years experience in lithography, mostly imaging and overlay related.
-Must have customer support experiences. Occasional oversea travel is required
-Disciplined, self-motivated, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and plan to meet strict deadlines
-Strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills
-Quick learner and flexibility are key attributes
-Effective in verbal communication in person or via conference calls.
