Introduction
Within ASML D&E (Development & Engineering) we have a vision to set up a “one-stop-shop for data and information”, called ASML Information System (AIS). To make this vision come true, we are working closely with IT department. All tasks are divided between several teams, that work following scrum method. Each team consists of several IT-colleagues who work on the data preparation and several colleagues from D&E, who work on prioritizing business requirements and reporting. The goal of the AIS team is to help users with their business intelligence questions and to improve the quality of reports within D&E.
The AIS team works according to the DevOps method and uses agile scrum.
Job Mission
In the position of Data Analyst/ AIS Report builder you will:
• Be involved in developing and building new reports and functionality within AIS (ASML Information System)
• Explore data and create reports that provide concise, interactive and relevant data summaries
• Make complex and large data amounts more accessible, understandable and usable
• Combine data from multiple data sources
• Be able to find the question behind the question, get the requirements clear
• Think of and present creative solutions
• Initiate and execute actions to improve the team processes and quality
• Create a standard way of working together with the team and align with other teams
• Work together with the back-end team to enclose the new data from HANA
• Provide support service (e.g. follow up questions w.r.t. data & tooling, authorizations, failed transport debugging, manage processes)
• Motivate business users to adopt the reports and guide business to benefit from the data
• Create value for ASML by enabling business to learn from the data
• Deliver trainings, deploy the data and tooling
• Work closely with D&E key-users
Job Description
• Experience with Data Visualization/ Analytics software (preferably Spotfire or Tableau)
• Experience with visualizing data, building and maintaining reports
• Experience in translating business requirements into functional and technical design
• Experience in translating data into meaningful reports
• Understanding of tool upgrades and understanding of report life-cycle
• Be able to align, agree and communicate with stakeholders from different business units
• Have basic scripting skills and understanding
• Have basic knowledge and understanding of databases (SQL, HANA, Oracle)
• Experience with SAP and SAP HANA (SAP BW knowledge can be useful)
• Have worked with Agile/ Scrum/ DevOps processes
• Understands the balance between D&E business and IT department
• Understands managerial and operational reporting
