Job Mission
An ASML machine contains many fasteners and adhesives. The job mission is to investigate, advise and decide on fastener and adhesive selections which comply with the specific requirements of ASML.
Job Description
- You will be one of the fastener and adhesives experts within ASML (supported by the Bolt & Glue Competences)
- You will create and maintain the fastener and adhesive vendor components in the related databases. Fasteners and adhesives will be your main responsibilities, however you will also learn from other component groups.
- You are able to support projects engineers in component selection. This requires technical and social skills and success highly depends on your attitude (service oriented).
- You are able to investigate all relevant information and compare them with the requirements of the requestor and ASML.
- You are able to present your opinion to different levels in the organization and are familiar with every applicable detail.
- You are able to perform under high time pressure with a high frequency of interrupts as well as creative in finding solutions
- You are able to investigate all relevant processes, which are used within or have an impact on the development organization and discuss the impact with different levels within the ASML organization.
- You operate as a linking pin in New Product
Introduction
(NPI) processes within the ASML organization and the associated manufacturers.
Education
Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering or Physics.Experience- Experience in the field of fasteners and preferably adhesives.
- Experience in communication with different stakeholders across organizations.
- Experience in mechanical product engineering is a pre.
- Preferably more than 5 years of working experience in a technical company.Personal skills- You communicate very well in English and have good human relations skills.
- You are familiar with computer applications and you learn quickly about new ones.
- You are very accurate and you have an attention to details.
- You are able to set up procedures and Way of Working (WoW) for e.g. process control, process maintenance, process ownership, publication and training purposes.
- You are willing to educate yourself in all required fields and keep up to date.
- Willing to travel to ASML factories and/or manufacturers when needed

Within this sector the MDEV Standards & Infrastructure provides the world wide ASML community a well-maintained library of mechanical components according the ASML QLTC standards and helps in selecting, qualifying, and releasing of mechanical components during new product introductions in order to make effectively use of these released components in our ASML systems for long term.
