The Image Engineering Laboratory within the School of Computer Science is a world leader in the design and manufacture of CMOS imaging sensors. It has recently announced the World’s largest radiation-hard sensor for medical imager. It wishes to expand its capabilities to include the design, realisation and testing of supporting electronics and software. This post will be a key appointment in providing these enhanced functions within a small, dispersed but enthusiastic research team.
To work closely with CMOS designers, system end-users and external parties and companies to develop system solutions for our increasing range of novel sensors.
