In ASML’s Research department, new concepts and applications are being invented and designed for future markets of lithography and metrology in various fields of semiconductor manufacturing.
Job Mission
Execute high-level research with application to computational optics for optical sensors in the semiconductor industry, with an emphasis on external wafer metrology e.g. using scatterometry for critical dimension metrology and overlay metrology.
Job Description
This research position is directed towards computational optics for optical sensors to be applied for future generations of wafer metrology. This may involve scatterometry and reconstruction schemes, methods for phase retrieval and alike.
Education
PhD in computational physics, a specialization in computational optics is highly preferred.We are looking for an enthousiastic researcher with the following expertise:
-Broad experience with optical sensors.
-A solid background in computational optics is a prerequisite.
