Are you an experienced TIBCO Spotfire specialist and you want to be part of a fast growing  international acknowledged organization where you operate at the heart of the company?

Job Mission
As TIBCO Spotfire specialist you will ensure that the TIBCO Spotfire service and platform is managed to the best advantage of the company. You are technically and functionally responsible for the TIBCO Spotfire service together with your internal and external service providers across the IT department.

Job Description
You will be responsible for safeguarding the TIBCO Spotfire service and platform. You will realize this by  maintaining the TIBCO Spotfire platform according to defined designs, procedures and policies. In a fast changing environment you will be able to oversee the whole platform infrastructure in its eco system. You must be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with the peer groups in IT.

In addition, you will be familiar with Agile/Scrum/DevOps way of working, as we align our delivery with ASML dynamics by optimizing and scaling.

Establish controls and conduct service improvement projects and advise the platform manager and/or senior management by identifying critical TIBCO Spotfire issues and recommending service improvement solutions. This is a role that finely combines operational, tactical and co-managerial responsibilities in one.
What are the challenges you will be facing in this role?

• Coordination of changes, incidents and problems related to the TIBCO Spotfire services
• Quality assurance w.r.t. incident solving, change preparation/execution and problem handling
• Identify and analyze trends in the daily operation (done by an external vendor) and translate into improvement initiatives
• Translating decisions into practical guidelines, policies and implementation plans
• Actively participate as a consultant inside and outside your TIBCO Spotfire service area
• Work with global  team resources, to support availability and performance of the TIBCO Spotfire service
• Monitor platform capacity and proactive improve the platform
• Report to management about the platform health of the TIBCO Spotfire service
• Write and maintain technical documentation for the platform and services

TIBCO Spotfire specialist Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelors or master’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering
• Fluent in English, preferably also in Dutch

• More than 4 years’ experience with TIBCO Spotfire
• Experience with database structures, network connectivity and Windows OS.
• Knowledge about: infra, load balancing, Kerberos, webservices, REST, JDBC, ODBC, logging, network protocols.

• Strong communication skills in English and preferably Dutch
• Excellent team player with the different parties (internal & external)
• Natural drive to improve processes and services
• Hungry to learn new skills
• Works and plans structurally
• Takes ownership and responsibility and works independently
• Result driven
