Group Leader EF EUV System Integration Job Description

Job Mission
To realize an effective and efficient implementation and execution of the manufacturing process with high quality standards and short cycle times driven by continuously improving ASML’s processes and products. This position will be particularly focused on developing the leadership in the system integration cabin to structurally manage towards operational excellence in line with ASML’s LEAN deployment strategy.

Job Description

• Fulfill basic line manager role for the Team Leaders: PPM, target setting, DAP, training and skill level, personal ambitions, etc.
• Identify continuous improvement projects and align the strategy and deliverables with senior managers and director
• Coach the TLs to lead these projects to deliver structural, measurable results
• Bring ideas to the table to help the TLs manage the complexity of the product, complexity of the organization, and pressure which comes with a ramp up toward volume production
• Play a lead role in transforming mindset and behavior from delivering 10 systems/year to 45 systems/year. Also from a mindset focused on different competences, i.e. source vs. scanner to a “one team” approach
• Align the Tier 1 Daily Kaizens such that they each deliver consistent information to the Tier 2 (LEAN deployment)
• Serve as deputy to manager

Education
BSc or Master in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other technical

Experience

• 5-10 years track record of successful management of individual and team goals
• Hands on mindset: experience in a factory environment
• Politically aware: experience aligning across teams with different objectives and viewpoints
• Affinity with factory: relevant skills to lead by example resulting in acceptance by team

• Results oriented – “get it done” mindset
• Stress averse
• Ability to manage uncertainty within the team. EUV is always changing and with a recent re-org, the newly structured team will need guidance to find their own way
• Independent 
• Able to prioritize and take ownership of resulting risks
• Direct and clear communication
