Team leader EUV illumination Job Description

Introduction
The D&E Optical Column department is part of the EUV Business line of ASML. Its task is to develop, deliver, integrate and qualify the optical column including metrology applications in spec, within time and budget. This vacancy concerns the illumination part in the optical column, which task is to guide the light from entering the machine towards the reticle with high imaging performance.

Job Mission
The candidate is responsible for the ASML Illuminator functional team responsible for the development, integration, industrialization and troubleshoot of the optical aspects of the illuminator.

Job Description

• The candidate applies his or her leadership skills to lead and steer the functional team in a multi-disciplinary project context;
• Interface with and communicate to the stakeholders including the project manager, architect, team leaders of other teams and external stakeholders such as system engineer, the factory and customer support;
• Build and coach a multi-disciplinary project team;
• Able to balance and manage the triple constraint (timing, budget and scope) in a transparent way in context of a project with multiple teams.

Team leader EUV illumination Job Requirements

Education
MSc or PhD, preferably Physics, with focus on Optics

Experience

• JG7+
• Affinity with or preferably experience in leadership roles and realization of a highly complex module
• A background in mechatronics and/or optics is a pre
• Experience with triple constraint management
• Experience with building and leading multi-disciplinary teams

• Communicational skills (both technical and managerial) on different abstraction levels
• Ability to interact with intercultural teams
• Team player and builder
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-propelling, showing initiative and drive
• Flexible, result driven and committed
