Teledyne DALSA Professional Imaging is part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated and specializes in the Research & Development, Design and Manufacturing of high-performance CCD and CMOS image sensors and CMOS-based
X-ray detectors. Teledyne DALSA’s image sensors and detectors are used worldwide in the most demanding medical and dental imaging, aerial photography, professional digital still cameras and machine vision applications.
The CMOS X-ray Detector Evaluation Engineer is a member of the R&D team in Eindhoven comprising analog, digital and software designers, mechanical engineers, device physicists and technology experts. You will also interact with other Teledyne DALSA locations in California and in Canada.
By his educational background and supported through additional training, the candidate will be able to make himself/herself familiar with all aspects of the innovative CMOS X-ray detectors for use in medical applications that are developed by the R&D team. This will allow the candidate to assume the responsibility for the overall detector evaluation.
By his knowledge of the total imaging chain of the CMOS x-ray detectors, the candidate will be able to assume the following responsibilities:
The job requires a University or HBO Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, with strong analytical capabilities and serious interest in CMOS imagers, camera hardware and software, image processing and analysis, and hands-on evaluation. The job is open to candidates with at least a few years of working experience or a Master Thesis related to Imaging. The job location is at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, “the world’s smartest region”
