We are looking for a Service Manager, who is an important interface between IT-SEI, other IT departments and the SDEV department. This is a challenging position and we are looking for an experienced person, able to manage and understand multiple solutions optimizing software development teams.

To effectively manage a Disaster Recovery (DR) sites for SEI services and so called SDEV Managed Applications.
Job Description
- Service Manager profile with thorough technical experience;
- Coordination of changes, maintenance, security improvements with SDEV;
- Be a partner for SDEV application owners;
- Take full responsibility for DR sites for all SEI services. This includes control over monitoring of the environment, checking delta’s in infrastructure and configurations;
- Be the central contact from SEI for Continuity Management within IT;
- Adhere to IT way of working and standards.
Education
Bachelor or academic level or equivalent in IT and/or Engineering.
Experience
- Minimal 5-10 years of relevant work experience in a similar environment;
- Thorough understanding of- and practical experience with managing technical teams;
- Good understanding of IT infra environments (network, databases, storage, servers, etc.);
- Good understanding of and affinity with the software development life cycle;
- ITIL certification is a pre;
- Stakeholder management;
- Budget/financial reporting.
Tasks:
- Communicate with stakeholders, most importantly IT Continuity Mngt and SDEV Managed Application owners;
- Review designs of DR site functionality;
- Review designs of SDEV Managed Applications;
- Manage infra and functional monitoring of the DR site;
- Chasing and escalating internal/external task assignees for progress on DR related tasks and implementation of agreed changes on a daily basis;
- Weekly reporting on status and progress for SEI and SDEV management;
- Stakeholder management with SDEV and IT staff;
- Define and report on KPI’s.

Context of the position
The Competence Center Product is a sub-department within the IT organization; this department is responsible for the infrastructure and tooling for ASML’s development and engineering department.
Within this competence center there are three solution teams: mechanical, electrical and software engineering. The Continuity Manager will be active in the software engineering infrastructure team and works in a large team of skilled software lifecycle management specialists.
The Software Engineering Infrastructure (SEI) group is responsible for the complete software development environment that is used by almost 3000 product software developers within ASML.
