Job Mission
Within the Development & Engineering group Quality & Robust Design the Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) competence team is dedicated to increase the robustness of ASML’s products and processes by supporting technical risk assessment in design and industrialization.
The competence team is also dedicated to increase the safety of the tools, used for manufacturing and servicing the ASML’s products, by supporting Safety Risk Assessment (SRA) for CE certification.The activities are mainly focused within all phases of ASML’s Product Generation Process. Within this group, 3 distinctive roles exist: FMEA coordinator, facilitator and the means & method role. As SRA facilitator, you will make a difference to the safety of the company and its customers by improving the focus on risk management in the tooling design in a way that improves the safety of ASML tools used for product manufacturing and product servicing. Using your unique mix of interpersonal skills, technical background and structured way of working, you will facilitate the SRA execution process for those subjects that have been assigned to you by the FMEA Coordinator.The FMEA and SRA processes are closely related. With the same set of skills you will also act as backup facilitator for FMEA, making a difference to the efficiency and profitability of the company by improving the focus on risk management in the product/process design in a way that improves the reliability of ASML products, product manufacturing and product servicing.Position in the Organization
Job Description
You will facilitate SRA sessions referenced to the ASML way of working in order to secure proper SRA execution. You will contribute to the accumulated knowledge and expertise in all phases of new product development in order to reduce the level of safety and technical risks. You will be the main driver of the SRA execution plan of ASML’s programs and projects. Main responsibilities:Ensure quality assurance of the SRA execution.SRA session execution according to dashboard registration. Maintenance of SRA dashboard according SRA session execution progress. Follow-up pro-actively on all open issues and formal closure of risks.Escalate to FMEA coordinator if necessary. Securing the data integrity for generic reporting.Secure correct administration completeness.
Education
Bachelor and/or Master in a technical study, like mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, chemical engineering or (applied) physics.
Experience
Priority will be given to candidates with at least four years practical experience within product development organizations. A technical background and experience in FMEA, SRA, risk assessment, six sigma and experience in a multidisciplinary environment is an advantage.

Context of the position
The SRA facilitator will report directly to the Robust Design Group Leader and has internal interfaces on all project levels. You are the primary contact person to ASML’s project leaders, group leaders, Safety Officers, project planners and engineers in relation to SRA execution, assigned to you, for all sectors and if required for external parties (e.g. suppliers).
