Introduction

Within the Customer Support Organization at the local sites is the Applications organization. The Field Applications team is responsible to demonstrate, optimize, and sustain ASML solutions to ensure on-product performance for customers. Job Mission
As the EUV Field Applications Technical Leader, your mission is to lead a group of EUV technical engineers that support the optimization of the application performance of the ASML NXE scanner, NXE scanner options and associated metrology. To be able to do this, you need to work closely with our customers and the account team to understand their application needs. You drive and develop the skills and competency within the Applications team to ensure the development of EUV adoption at our customers. You will work closely with the WW Applications community to ensure EUV knowledge sharing and EUV best practices are shared and the process improvements are aligned and then implemented.

Job Description

• Lead the EUV applications team, sets priorities, apply resources, tackle problems with structural solutions.
• Work closely within CS EUV and with the local account teams to understand the business direction and needs and identifying areas where the EUV applications team can be of added value to our customers.
• In the initial EUV introduction phase work together with BDM/BL to engage and discuss with customer TD to follow up on all technical details.
• Responsible for the realization of operational activities in the team and responsible for the quality of the team’s output.
• Ensure proper execution of EUV applications projects and related work stream activities
• Responsible for receiving and transferring EUV knowledge, requirements and other relevant EUV information between VHV organization and the customer in an effective and efficient manner.
• Own the EUV competency and in-depth EUV critical topics.
• Contributes to the definition and implementation of WW EUV applications team.
• Support the Local team and drive proactively EUV initiatives in the areas of structural process and performance improvements
• Facilitate communication between customer, local team and the other cross sectional interfaces (local account team, CS Applications team, BL’s, GSC, D&E) for proper alignment
• Facilitate timely resolution of EUV applications escalations or other customer EUV applications issues through the proper channels 

EUV Applications Technical Leader Job Requirements

Education
Master’s degree (or Bachelor + relevant experience) in physics, electronics or mechanical engineering, optics, micro-electronics, chemical engineering or IC manufacturing or equivalent experience.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years semiconductor industry experience with degree or 10+ years of related industry experience.
• Direct stepper and/or scanner related experience in the semiconductor or related industry and an in-depth understanding of ASML products and operations is preferred.　
• Strong technical background with drive towards collaboration and solutions
• Proven technical leadership and process management skills;　
• Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to direct activities of others to accomplish goals while maintaining ‘big-picture’ overview
• Ability to initiate and execute company-wide improvement programs;　
• Strong influencing skills: able to motivate, drive, steer and convince others at all levels of the organization　
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills. Chinese language ability an advantage.
