Our client is a well known international company that specialises in thermal controls worldwide. The duties and responsiblities are as follows:
• To establish project technical requirements through regular liaison with new and existing clients. • To direct and manage design and site based resources to meet project time and budgetary constraints. • Represent the company in engineering design discussions with, for example, Clients and sub • Have complete ownership and accountability (including commercial responsibility) to ensure the a number of challenging medium to large international projects (< € 1M). • Manage groups of designers and engineers within the projects who could be based throughout Europe and/or the company’s Indian Design Centre. • Regularly monitor actual project process against initial agreed schedule instigating corrective measures where necessary to ensure deadlines are met to ensure client satisfaction. • Implement good Contract Management on main and sub-contracts • Participate in development and improvement initiatives and undertake internal and external training and product awareness. • Establishing and maintaining regular communication with all interested parties associated with the successful execution of the projects including a clear understanding of how to adapt to different national business habits to achieve the desired results.
• Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering • In excess of five years Project Engineering experience obtained in a process environment (preferably within the Oil, Gas or Petrochemical industries). • Proven Project Management expercience • Computer literate - proficient in a wide variety of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Project) • Be a self-starter/self-motivated, detail oriented and a good communicator, both written and oral • Ability to 'think and act promptly' is essential
• Act as an “Ambassador” for the company when interacting with clients • Be able to exemplify the core values: Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, and Accountability • Good English Language skills
Preferred
• Some knowledge of power distribution and/or Heat applications. • Previous experience of international assignments. • Full driving license
Comments
• Will participate in the Bonus Scheme • Eligible for the NMCA Scheme • Must be prepared to stay away from base overnight or for short periods on company business or on assignments.
