Furthermore, the continuous improvement manager RCA is the coach of individuals and the RCA investigation team(s).Within the sector Development and Engineering (D&E), the MI Service and Manufacturing Technology department is dedicated to increase the robustness of the company’s products and processes. By driving industrialization solutions related to Reliability, Availability, Manufacturability and Serviceability (RAMS), the Spare Parts group brings together the key competencies needed to execute structural parts improvements throughout ASML’s product development programs.
Job Mission
The main purpose is to develop and expand the RCA capability of our ASML organization and deliver concrete results via complex RCA projects.
The purpose of the job can be divided into two areas. The first area is the coaching and training of groups and individual people. The expert must be able to give expert training on root cause analysis techniques and coach people on a personal level (explain way of thinking and use of tools). Secondly, he/she should be able to support and drive a technical root cause analysis project (investigation support).
He/she should guide/help the project team for choosing the right direction in their investigation and help selecting and using the correct RCA tools.
Furthermore he/she should be able to translate experience into new RCA structures/tools and help defining the RCA strategy.
