Introduction
Founded in 1984, ASML is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. ASML has its R&D and manufacturing operations in Wilton, Connecticut and in Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
The IT division supports information management, infrastructure and key business processes across ASML. The ICT infrastructure, hardware and applications are absolutely mission-critical for almost all ASML’s internal and external activities.
A sub-department within the IT organization is the Competence Center Operations & infrastructure (O&I). This Competence Center provides all IT support services. This includes generic IT infrastructure services like laptops and desktops, telecom services, network and datacenters for which we ensure that these services are running in an optimal way and we look at innovating the services. We also support the IT applications that are used at ASML.
Job Mission
The Connectivity Service Manager is responsible for the ASML Connectivity services (DC-LAN/LAN/WAN), through-out the entire lifespan. He or she makes sure that from design till operations, the customer requirements are met. The focus of this assignment is on an operational level, you will monitor problems and/or changes in the connectivity landscape. However with you continuous improvement mindset you are also able to identify potential problems in the different service processes and proactively act on this.
