Senior Software Designer Engineer

Your contribution will help chip manufactures around the world to keep up with demands and technical needs for the chips used by everyone.
Job Description
Working within the EUV Source User and Factory Interface (SUFI) team of approximately 10 people.
You will be working on the factory interfaces enabling diagnostic data production. You will maintain existing functionality and develop new features in close cooperation with the architect and other SW design engineers in the team.
Software quality is key and consequently we are looking for a person that has affinity with testing and helps the team to deliver high quality software. The SUFI team is using an agile way of working for software development.
As a SW Design Engineer you will regularly provide feedback on progress, technical content and quality to your other team members and to the Project Leader. It’s crucial to have a constant communication with your stakeholders on the progress and specification status to ensure no-one is surprised nor disappointed. These stakeholders include the SW development partners, but also e.g. our factory and customer support representatives. We are proud of our team.

Main responsibilities
- Gather input/requirements, contacting relevant stakeholders
- Create (detailed) designs.
- Implement requirements in line with the created designs.
- Verify and validate the implemented functionality
Education
BSc or MSc in computer science or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Relevant experience in development of technical software for over 5 years.
- Experience with Operating Systems (Linux, RTOS, VxWorks is a pre), C/C++, Scripting (Python), scheduling, resource monitoring, diagnostics, system debugging
Personal skills
- Good communication skills

- Flexible/adaptive
- Good knowledge of English
