Diving into users’ motivations, mentality and behaviour: your role as a Frontend Developer at Polyora
You can achieve a lot on your own, but together even more. At SELECT, people can find their perfect connection. We’re trading ideas and possibilities, and for that we need you. As a Frontend Developer, your main goal is meeting our client expectations and achieving the required user experience by further developing our platform for everything that our users see and touch. This requires a lot of interaction with our clients and testing, before implementing new features.
You’ll create a unique serving environment by:
- translating design into code to create interaction and a great user experience;
- understanding potential struggles our users have with our platform;
- guiding junior developers and spreading your knowledge as a mentor;
- constantly exchanging ideas and knowledge with our product owner in order to make the right decisions.
Go deep, become good at it and build a new marketplace. Could this be you? To further develop our SELECT platform, we need team members who are creative and empathic. You like to experiment and test hypotheses to satisfy our user needs, while thinking lean, pragmatic and outside corporate processes. We’d like you to be adaptable to change and come up with great ideas. Things aren’t set in stone; you like to challenge traditional thinking by looking beyond conventional ideas. It’s all about the details for you: you’re an active listener and questioner with a lot of self-motivation and responsibility.
Our ideal tech expert:
- has an education in software development, computer science or a similar field;
- is experienced in frontend development, web development and design thinking;
- is familiar with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular (2 years’ experience);
- has a deep understanding of users to deliver a great user experience;
- is fluent in English, both verbal and written.
