To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Digital Application Engineer
 
You will:
Work as a Digital Application Engineer on the setup and development of digital solutions using Java and .NET. These solutions will be used internally at ZEISS and by our customers. As part of a team, you will prioritize and implement requirements using agile methods and support the subsequent rollouts and testing to develop a fully integrated, executable product. You will also assume responsibility for the operation of these solutions and work on continued improvements. As part of your personal development, you will oversee individual subprojects. In this capacity, you will coordinate the requirements with the specialist departments and perform the final implementation.

Digital Application Engineer Job Requirements

You have 

• A completed bachelor's degree in computer science, information management or a comparable field
• Ideally: initial work experience
• Fun using cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure)
• An excellent understanding of software development processes and technologies (SCRUM, continuous integration, test-driven development)
• Significant experience with JAVA and .NET
• Knowledge of SQL and AngularJS 
• Very good written and spoken English
• A highly developed sense of responsibility, good communication skills, initiative and the ability to work on a team
