Xelvin is a reliable partner for (international) companies to recruit and employ high educated technical professionals.
Our highly motivated employees are active in a broad variety of areas: mechanical, biomedical, electronic and chemical engineering, research and development, industrial automation and ICT.
Their flexibility and attitude make the difference. They have proven to be easy adapters and fast learners, they prove their productive value very fast.
Xelvin wants to achieve optimal added value for all parties involved. We help companies to find the right balance between their need for flexibility and finding the right person for the job ensuring continuity for the business. For employees we are looking for the most challenging jobs at the best companies in Europe.
You work in project teams on the development of MEMS based sensor products. You generate multiple concepts for which you do physical and electrical feasibility studies, using theoretical models, simulations and prototype verification. Based on that you advise on design related boundaries and impact on product level. You do research on technologies, materials and external developments. You interact with the quality colleagues to define test plans and consult on MEMS process and design related potential failure modes. Where needed, you interact with external expert partners. Finally, you support and interact with your colleagues of production engineering on the production scenarios and the needed equipment. Being one of the MEMS experts within the company, you advise colleagues and eventually impact strategic decisions.
You have a Master degree or PhD in MEMS technology, material science, electronics or applied physics or related technical fields. This and your work experience (preferably several years) give you a thorough understanding of the MEMS process and the correlations between process and product. Ideally you have cleanroom experience in manufacturing MEMS. You know how to characterize MEMS both in physical analysis (e.g. SEM) and in electrical bench testing on product level. Next to that, you preferably have experience in MEMS design and MEMS based sensor testing and you are familiar with numerical and analytical modelling (e.g. Matlab, Pspice, Comsol or ANSYS). Equally important to your knowledge and experience is the personality you bring. We need someone who is hands-on, proactive, eager to learn and result driven. You can interact effectively with a wide variety of people with different backgrounds. Finally, the high level of uncertainty in the early phase of R&D cycle does not scare you of.
