Product and Process Engineer Job Description

At Nordson Asymtek, we play an important role in the electronics, automotive, telecommunication and medical industry by supplying top of the range dispensing and conformal coating equipment. 
Many production processes in these markets require small, precise amounts of a variety of different glues and coatings to be dispensed. 
Nordson Asymtek offers a range of automated robots to take on this task. 

To support the growing market we – at our European headquarters in Deurne - are looking for a
Product and Process Engineer (m/f, fulltime)

Your job:
As a Product and Process Engineer, you will be:

• Assisting in the pre- and post sales process by performing demonstrations of our equipment.
• Setting up the customer’s dispensing and conformal coating processes.
• Providing technical and application support to our distributors and customers in Europe, Middle East, South Africa and Brazil.
• Conducting machine installations and on-site training.
• You will be trained to become the technical expert for our product portfolio and the production processes related to dispensing and conformal coating.

Product and Process Engineer Job Requirements

Your profile: 

• Bsc or Msc in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong technical-service skills. Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or electronic industrial equipment is a plus.
• Customer oriented, empathic.
• Responsive, confident problem solver and action oriented.
• Quality conscious, even under stress.
• Able to effectively prioritize work and meet commitments.
• Good business sense.
• Strong interpersonal and didactic skills, strong team player.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing. Any other major European language is a plus.
• Prepared to travel frequently across Europe (around 40% travel).
• Drivers license is a must.
