Senior Engineer Marine Technology Job Description

The marine technology unit is a part of Operations North in Development & Production Norway (DPN). The marine technology unit has the responsibility for the marine and structural integrity of the floating production and storing/offloading facilities in DPN, a total of 15 facilities. This comprises technical responsibility for marine systems such as mooring, Dynamic Positioning, platform/vessel motion, offloading, flexible risers, stability and weight control, turret/swivel systems and load bearing structures. We are looking for expertise to our office at Stjørdal, Norway.
Job description
- Responsibility for the technical integrity of marine systems and/or load-bearing structures (within one or more of the listed responsibility areas - depending on the candidates professional skills/preferences)
- Daily follow-up of technical conditions
- Planning, execution and quality control of discipline tasks
- Close cooperation with other disciplines, both onshore and offshore, is required
- Some offshore work is expected (approx. 2-4 weeks/year)

Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience from marine projects and/or marine operations, such as analysis, installation and maintenance of marine systems, is an advantage
