We are changing the face of technology. To do that, we have gathered some of the most brilliant minds, and we’d like you to join us. Intel Germany offers a variety of positions working with some of the fastest moving fields in both hardware and software solutions. We’re developing new modem technologies that will enable next-generation wireless connectivity, creating a new era in driving through in-car computing solutions—including in-vehicle infotainment, navigation, ADAS systems and even true autonomous driving. If you would love to work on amazing technology, then Intel is for you.
Intel Mobile Communication is looking for an innovative RF systems engineer working on topologies and algorithms within RF-Radio Frequency transceiver IC-Integrated Circuits. You develop and specify in close collaboration with a global team of analogue/digital/FW design experts as well as within the systems engineering community the content of world class cellular semiconductor components. You have an end-to-end view of systems across layers and across disciplines.
The candidate will be responsible for the selection, definition and specification of RF transceivers topologies and algorithms in HW and SW. This includes the RF line-up and base band analogue as well as digital data path, calibration/optimization/trimming algorithms as well as the control path. The development and subsequent performance characterization and validation is done in a Matlab/C/C++/SystemC based simulation environment. Analogue/digital block specification, system specification and IC data sheet is derived from the line-up level plan. The candidate will actively participate and contribute to systems engineering shaping the optimum HW/SW split to continuously improve efficiency and capability of RF transceiver/modem chipsets based on various cellular modem technologies in close alignment with the design communities as well as our customers. This includes theoretical and simulation based analysis, regular active participation in design and review sessions within cross functional teams, systems support for implementation and mass production optimization related activities and submission of technical papers to relevant conferences to contribute Intel's IP portfolio.
