Elomatic took an important step in 1974 when deciding to invest in design design technology used for floor plan and pipeline design for ship engine rooms and factories. Subsequently, Elomatic's growth was rapid and operations expanded geographically across industries.
CADMATIC 3D DESIGN SYSTEM
Elomatic was a major player in the international marine design market in the 80s, when the development of a computer-aided 3D design system known today as Cadmatic was started.
This was to improve Elomatic's competitiveness in challenging global markets. It was based on know-how from the use of design templates and therefore Cadmatic became one of the most advanced 3D design programs for ship and plant design.
