Westhouse was founded in February 2002 as a recruitment company in an office of 24 m 2 by Markus Steinbeisser and Bernhard Plecher. Since both had experience in the SAP environment, Westhouse started with a focus on providing freelancers in the IT sector. [3]
In 2006, Westhouse expanded into Switzerland and opened its second branch there, Westhouse Schweiz AG. Three years later, a location in Italy was opened.
In 2011, the permanent employment business was included in the offer. The following year, Westhouse Engineering GmbH was founded in 2012. In 2013 Westhouse expanded to Asia.
In the years that followed, the company expanded in terms of locations and employees and continuously increased its turnover.
